The Grounds Crew is responsible for maintaining the golf course and surrounding areas to ensure optimal playing conditions. This includes landscaping, turf management, and upkeep of greens, fairways, bunkers, and water features. The role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

**Course Maintenance**:

- Mowing greens, fairways, roughs, and tee boxes using specialized equipment.
- Raking and maintaining sand traps and bunkers.
- Aerating greens, tees, and fairways.
- Edge and trim around course features (bunkers, water hazards, paths).
- Removal of debris such as leaves, branches, or trash from the course and common areas.
- Filling divots and repairing ball marks on greens and fairways.
- Oversee general landscaping including trees, shrubs, and flower beds.
- Hand watering dry spots and areas that require special attention.
- Operate and maintain golf course maintenance equipment, including mowers, aerators, utility vehicles, and other power tools.
- Safely handle equipment and adhere to safety protocols during operation.
- Set up the course for daily play including moving tee markers, placing pin positions, and setting up signage.
- Assist in the setup and preparation for tournaments and events.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the head superintendent or management.

**Teamwork and Communication**:

- Work closely with the superintendent, assistant superintendent, and other grounds crew members to complete daily tasks.
- Communicate any issues, hazards, or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
- Ensure all work is completed with mínimal disruption to golfers.

**Qualifications**:

- Prior experience in landscaping, golf course maintenance, or similar work is preferred.
- Ability to operate and maintain golf course maintenance equipment.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and in various weather conditions.
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license.

**Work Schedule**:

- Full-time
- Early mornings, typically starting around sunrise.
- Weekend shifts
- Seasonal
