Job Description_
So, what will your new role actually look like?_
We are seeking a talented, motivated, and driven Technical Product Owner for our internal development platform. You will be accountable for maximizing the value of the platform features to GSoft’s developers. You will report to the Director of technology, where you will fill your responsibilities through engagement and close collaboration with software architects, developers, and Software Development Managers. This will be done through defining, planning, prioritizing, and releasing features of highly technical initiatives inside the GSoft’s tech platform.
You'll be responsible for:

- Take part into defining the vision for platform engineering at GSoft, and bringing this vision to life.
- Communicate with stakeholders to align on the tech vision, and ensure the tech platform roadmap is aligned with that vision.
- Perform market and industry analysis to further drive the direction of the tech platform.
- Regularly meet with developers to do user research, and collect feedback on the features that were delivered.
- Analyze user needs, then develop features user stories and acceptance criteria to meet them.
- Manage the product backlog, ensuring that it is visible, transparent, and clear to all.
- Prioritize product backlog items based on the business objectives, and time constraints.
- Make firm decisions regarding the orientations on what the team should be focused on.
- Identify platform opportunities and work with the development teams to find solutions.
- Collaborate with teams to identify and mitigate risks and to fix technical problems.
- Drive alignment across the organization; Manage feature inter-dependencies with other development teams.
- Oversee the development stage; Identify and organize the steps for the next iteration.
- Regularly validate proposed prioritization and solutions with stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met.
- Inspect the team deliverables, and provide guidance to ensure that the team stay outcome-focused.
- Measure and improve the ROI as well as the business value delivered by the platform features.

**What does your future team look like?**

You will be part of a seasoned and experienced team of 3 to 6 people in charge of building GSoft’s tech platform. This team focuses on enabling stream-aligned teams to build and deploy high-quality software solutions, autonomously and at high speed. They do that by providing out of the box solutions to common problems, increasing speed through automation, encouraging best practices through standardisation and by promoting reusable solution in the form of services and libraries. The team’s initiatives also aim at increasing DevXP and lower developer’s cognitive load. The team works closely with multiple stream-aligned teams developing new value for the customers and with several other experts: architects (cloud, backend, frontend), a SRE team, security specialists, and more.
- What are the newest challenges awaiting your team?_
- Simplify work required to provisioning, deploy and operate a service inside our Kubernetes clusters.
- Enable our transitions to a distributed architecture by providing easy to use building blocks, including service discovery, authentication mechanisms, ready to use IaC components, micro frontend capabilities, etc.
- Standardize how software telemetry is captured and tracked among all GSoft’s software.
- Simplify the development of our design systems through Design System Ops.
