Stamping/phosphate Operator

**Q2ALS **growing machining capacity requires a Stamping/Phosphate Operator to work the 2nd Shift for our Red Deer manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for operating the stamping machine and phosphate unit in a manufacturing environment. The shift for this role is Monday to Friday, 3:30pm-11:30pm with occasional overtime as needed.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate stamping machine, load and unload
- Stamp parts as specified on the drawing
- Operate phosphate unit, load unload parts
- Perform weekly/daily tests on the phosphate unit
- Stock parts on shelves or in the parts machine
- Process work orders
- Regular machine cleaning
- Regular preventative maintenance
- Train new employees
- Other duties as required by supervisor

**Qualifications**:
oMinimum grade 12 or equivalent
- Detail oriented with a mechanical aptitude
- Experience in a complex and high paced manufacturing environment is an asset
- Must be highly self-motivated
