Green Unlimited is Ottawa’s largest independently owned lawn care company, with over 30 years in business and a proven track record in the lawn care industry. Community involvement is very important to the Green Unlimited team. We created the Day of Tribute, where we gather all our Suppliers, Associates & Competitors and spend a day at Beechwood Cemetery caring for the DND and the Military Veteran sections. It’s our way to give back to those that have given so much for our way of life. We also sponsor and participate in several charity golf tournaments around the city along with many other events. We are looking to add another key strong individual to our team. We have a long history of innovative program design and a strong foundation of loyal customers, along with thousands of untapped sales opportunities. The Sales Manager we are looking for will be working closely with the Leadership Team to achieve sales targets and drive the business forward with even stronger growth than we already achieve. Each employee adds value to the business and the expectations are high. Growth and scale are our focus - along with caring for the loyal clients that have given us our solid foundation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers to increase satisfaction and the retention rate
- Hires, trains, directs, and manages all sales staff involved with sales and customer service
- Develop a strong team - Coach, mentor and motivate the sales team to ensure that performance metrics and sales goals are achieved
- Contribute ideas to and participate in the development and implementation of the company's marketing plans.
- Be accountable for ensuring the successful conversion of Leads to sales.
- Monitor all performance metrics related to sales and the customer experience
- Provide recommendations to management on any growth potential and opportunities.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales quotas
- Other non-essential job duties may be assigned.

**What you need to bring**:

- High energy, passionate and influential - Motivating a sales team must be fun for you
- Strong sales aptitude and the ability to manage a team of sales representatives.
- Analytical & Organizational skills along with an ability to multitask
- Great Communication Skills - Did we mention motivating already?
- **A minimum of 5 years of management experience - must have experience having previously built and mentored a successful sales team.**:

- Experience hiring, training, and managing a staff of 5 or more employees
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in MS Office software & Google Docs
- Self motivated, results-driven and career focused individual with a strong desire to be successful

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

Supplemental pay types:
