Feldstein & Associates LLP, a growing public accounting firm in Markham, Ontario, has an opening for a permanent part-time Receptionist 9am to 5pm two days per week with potential for more days in the future. Hourly compensation is based on relevant experience and extent of qualifications. This is an in-office position; there is no option to work from home. Additional hours may be necessary during tax season.

** Please note that this position is not intended for individuals pursuing a CPA or other accounting designation. **

**Responsibilities will include but not be limited to**:

- Reception duties including greeting clients; mail and courier; answer, forward and screening calls; typing, scanning, data entry, maintaining a well-organized reception area
- Assistance preparing client packages
- Preparing letters, forms to send to client
- Assistance scanning personal tax documents during tax season
- May be required to assist with billing
- Assistance with sending out AR statements
- Other assistance as necessary during tax season
- Other administrative tasks as required

**Skills and requirements**:

- Minimum secondary school graduation diploma
- Experience with QuickBooks and other bookkeeping software
- At least 1 to 2 years’ experience in a professional office setting
- Strong attention to accuracy and detail
- Numbers oriented
- Excellent written and verbal English communications skills
- Strong work ethic, integrity and a positive attitude
- Understanding of the importance of confidentiality
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Willing to learn new software and take on new responsibilities as required

**COVID-19 considerations**:
Interviews will be conducted remotely. You will carry out your duties in the office. Currently, most staff is working some days in the office and some days remotely.
