The Awake overnight will ensure safety checks of the home is completed and requires preparing meals along various other assigned duties and responsibilities. The Awake overnight support will use consistent and positive behavioural management strategies. The Awake overnight shifts are mainly
- night shifts ranging up to 12 hours per shift; however, based on the need of the program, you
- may ask to assist with other areas when necessary.

**Qualifications**:

- Applicant must have at minimum a post-secondary Diploma or Degree in a related field such as Child and Youth Work, Behavioural Sciences, Social Services, Developmental Services
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience supporting individuals with special needs
- Demonstrated skills in the area of setting behavioural boundaries to manage children with physical behaviours
- Strong and patient personality that enjoys interacting and teaching children with special needs
- Demonstrated understanding and commitment to supporting individuals from diverse cultures, experiences and backgrounds
- Must have a valid First Aid, CPR. Bayfield will provide UMAB training
- A valid G driver's license with a clear driving record and a safe/reliable vehicle with a minimum of $2-Million liability insurance
- A clear and current Vulnerable Sector Police Screening
- CAS Background Check
