**Position Title**: Venue Manager

**Salary Range**: $48,000- $58,000 (commensurate with experience)

Legendary Hospitality in the heart of Downtown Halifax are looking for a Venue Manager to join our team at Sketti 7 Ball Co. We are looking for a passionate hard working individual to join and lead our Front of House teams.

**Responsibilities**
- The Venue Manager is overseeing the daily operations of the venue, including the selection, development and performance management of employees
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining up to date knowledge of all food and drink products
- Responsible for processing cash and electronic payments on a day to day basis, ensuring that they are accurate and balanced at the end of each day as well as optimizing profits
- Work as a team, keep a friendly attitude with coworkers and a joyful composure with guests
- Scheduling employees, hiring and training new employees - Examining food and beverage presentation and controlling consistency
- Handle escalated customer complaints and be the first point of contact in management for staff and guests
- Overseeing the inventory and ordering of liquor and bar supplies - Maintaining occupational health and safety standards and fire safety regulations
- Ensure that guests are provided with a Legendary experience.
**About you**
- 2-5+ years in the food and beverage industry an asset
- An experience in food and drink led venues an asset
- Previous experience leading a team
- A working knowledge of cuisine is an asset
- A strong understanding and passion for wine is an asset
- Must be punctual, reliable, have ability to work as a team and independently and have a strong work ethic
- Advanced english language skills Work Environment
- Physical demands include walking and standing, bending, kneeling, repetitive twisting and lifting, and repetitive arm movements
- Must be able to lift 40lbs
**Work Authorization**
- Must be authorized to legally work in Canada
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $48,000.00-$58,000.00 per year
