JOB TITLE: Park Operator

WORK LOCATION: Lac Le Jeune Provincial Park

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

- Operating light-powered equipment such as weed whackers, lawn mowers, and leaf blowers
- Providing excellent customer service
- Performing cleaning tasks

DUTIES:
As a Park Operator, your responsibilities will include:

- Reporting directly to the Park Manager
- Ensuring a safe and clean environment for park guests
- Performing operational maintenance tasks such as weekly grounds keeping of common areas and daily cleanup of campsites, washrooms, picnic, and day use areas within the park
- Providing park visitors with tourism information
- Conducting sales of park use permits and related products

PERSONAL QUALITIES:
We seek individuals who:

- Enjoy spending time outdoors
- Excel in customer service and possess strong communication skills
- Collaborate effectively in a team setting
- Demonstrate a passion for wildlife and habitat conservation
- Can stand and work outdoors for extended periods (up to 8 hours)
- Have reliable transportation

SALARY:
Starting from $19 per hour

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Lac Le Jeune, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
