The District of Thunder Bay Social Services Administration Board (TBDSSAB) is the service system manager for Child Care and Early Years Programs, Community Housing and Homelessness Prevention Initiatives, and manages the delivery of Ontario Works for the District of Thunder Bay. TBDSSAB's vision is to provide quality services within the context of a commitment to social justice and recognition of people’s potential to achieve self-sufficiency.

Under the direction of the Supervisor, Research and Social Policy, the **Homelessness Prevention Program Analyst**is responsible for the collection, organization, and development of internal and external data required to meet TBDSSAB’s obligations within the Homelessness Prevention Program (HPP). The Homelessness Prevention Program Analyst will analyze the development/oversight of the administration of the Homelessness Prevention system within the District of Thunder Bay to ensure that individuals are being served in the most efficient and effective manner possible and that service providers are meeting their obligations in compliance with TBDSSAB Operating Agreements and various Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing Homelessness Prevention Operating Agreements.

**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES**:
1. Collect and analyze relevant internal and external data and research on issues pertaining to TBDSSAB’s MMAH program requirements for the Homeless Prevention Program (HPP) - including but not limited to: SSRF data, MMAH/TPON Reporting Requirements, Tenant Insurance related support, COHB reporting, food security.
3. Prepares reports and analysis as required (Ministry Reporting)
4. Connecting with homeless support providers in the district and connecting needs and resources.
5. Performs other duties as may be assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Education/Experience**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum three years’ related experience in housing programs and/or homelessness prevention.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong research background/experience

**Skills/Abilities**

3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
4. Ability to work under pressure and establish and negotiate conflicting priorities and deadlines.
5. Sound judgment, tact, and effective interpersonal skills

**CONDITION(S) OF EMPLOYMENT**:

- Must undergo a successful police records check, Type 2.
- Use of a vehicle may be required.
- Travel may be required.
- May be required to work irregular hours.
- Must maintain confidentiality.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $68,063.72-$80,074.96 per year
