**Overview of the Role**

The responsibilities encompass performing paralegal and practice support duties to our litigation team. The paralegal will provide support at questionings and trials.

This is a permanent full-time, permanent, non-exempt position. Daily schedule to be determined. Hybrid working arrangements will be considered.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Prepare and draft correspondence and legal documents;
- Provide trial support including organizing documents and court filings and witness binders;
- Produce Lists of Documents;
- Organize large volumes of documents;
- Review documents for privilege and producibility;
- Conduct witness interviews;
- Perform any other task related to the role as new business needs arise.

**Qualifications Required**
- A Paralegal Certificate or Diploma from a recognized educational institution or the equivalent;
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience as a litigation paralegal;
- Working knowledge of Alberta Rules of Court;
- Experience in legal research and summarizing documents;
- E-Discovery experience;
- Experience with Nextpoint ideal, but not required
- High integrity and intellectual rigor;
- Strong organizational and communication skills;
- Able to work independently, as well as in a team.
