Field House and East Abby Hospitality are hiring for Director of Hospitality, who oversees both of our Tasting Rooms of Field House with the potential to oversee a third operation

This is a prominent leadership opportunity in our company - this role will be responsible for overseeing the teams and day-to-day operations of our 2 tasting rooms in Abbotsford and Chilliwack; connecting our community and our fans with our beer, food, crew and brand.

You can imagine this being similar to a GM role, overseeing our 2 current restaurants.

Our leadership team is looking for someone particularly awesome for this role - you will be a part of the supporting cast for our larger Field House Crew, helping us build a good business with and for good people. This person would ideally be a kind but firm team leader, intrinsically motivated to do good work and be good to others, an excellent communicator, drawn to the details, experienced with restaurant finances, and the consummate host.

**Field House Hospitality Operations**
- Overseeing daily operations of DTWN CHWK and East Abby taprooms, responsible for all aspects of business from hiring & scheduling, drink and meal preparation, to cleanliness and maintenance of facilities and equipment.
- Impactful leadership to deliver a great guest experience, providing coaching and feedback where necessary to elevate the level of hospitality.
- Collaborating with Canteen to maintain fresh menu features, and seasonal menu changes
- Holding team accountable to inventory management, identifying problems and implementing solutions to maintain par levels, while achieving COGS budgets.
- Collaborating with Marketing and HQ Support to coordinate events and promotions

**Accountable for: Hospitality and Canteen Crew**
- Training and development of Head of Canteen & Farm Ops, TR and Canteen Leads within the Hospitality team. Regular meetings to evaluate business operations & performance, industry influencing factors and business priorities.
- Recruitment, selection, and onboarding new crew to join the crew
- Supporting training of the crew, prioritizing culture, the sense of WHY, setting working expectations, and holding the crew accountable to the Field House standards
- Dedicated time working alongside the crew and leadership to impact, assess performance, and provide feedback
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and partners within the community and industry.

**Business Performance**
- Directly delivering our hospitality vision within our communities.
- Driving tasting room revenue to stretch goals, and achieve growth targets
- Work through leadership team to maintain operational budgets, providing coaching and feedback to improve business performance
- Communication of business performance to Ops team, setting annual targets and budgets to drive financial prosperity of the overall Field House business, and reporting on variances from these targets on a monthly basis.
- Explore innovative ways to push our hospitality and operations to new level

While we are always open-minded when meeting new people, there are a few requirements needed for this role:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in leadership/management in the hospitality industry
- Advanced knowledge of beer and serving beer
- Solid experience working with both front and back of house teams and operations

This will be a salaried role, and you will have access to extended health benefits in addition to a bunch of other great crew perks and opportunities. Compensation will be flexible and negotiable based on your experience.

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
