North Vancouver, Canada House of Funk Brewing Co Full time

We’re looking for a full-time brewer to join House of Funk. If you have a passion for the funkier side of beer, good problem solving skills, positive attidude and love to have fun at the work place, we look forward to hearing from you.

**Responsabilities for the role**:

- Operate brewing equipment and follow recipes to produce high-quality beer
- Monitor and adjust temperature, pressure, and other variables during the brewing process
- Clean and sanitize brewing equipment to maintain a hygienic brewing environment
- Package finished beer into kegs, bottles, or cans
- Maintain accurate records of brewing activities and inventory levels
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient production and quality control
- Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area
- The ability to follow and understand SOP’s
- Ability to lift up to 25kg malt bags and maneuver up to 75kg kegs

**The successful applicant will have the following experience**:

- Previous experience in the food industry or food processing is preferred
- Knowledge of basic math for measuring ingredients and calculating brewing ratios
- Mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot brewing equipment
- Familiarity with sanitation practices to maintain a clean brewing environment
- Ability to operate a forklift for moving ingredients and finished products
- Experience in repairing or modifying brewing equipment is a plus

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $23.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
