**About the Opportunity**:
The Clinical Manager, Occupational Therapy (OT) at KidsAbility provides input and assistance in all phases of service delivery including quality outcomes, and staff and client satisfaction. The scope of leadership is at the clinical level, providing direct supervision in a supportive manner for staff within the OT discipline. The Clinical Manager OT will provide clinical support as required, in addition to the following areas of responsibility, including but not limited to:

- Provide staff supervision in a manner that creates opportunities for engagement and skill development, and ensures client service delivery meets KidsAbility’s strategic goals, objectives, and service standards
- Develop a high performing team, promoting and fostering accountability in day-to-day operations including continuity and consistency of effective and efficient service delivery for all clients across program sites and services
- Performance management of staff through caseload review and chart audits
- Recruiting, training, orientation, and supervision of assigned staff including staff scheduling, and health and safety
- Participates in internal and external meetings, projects, and committees
- Fosters positive working relationships in line with KidsAbility values with staff, peers, clients, families, volunteers, and community
- Initiate and undertake activities that improve one’s professional knowledge, clinical skills, and managerial expertise, and keep up with new and innovative ideas and interventions related to the discipline
- Practice in a manner consistent with KidsAbility’s mission, values, and strategic plan
- Maintain the standards of professional practice and conduct/ethics of COTO\

**More About You**:
To qualify, applicants must have a Master’s degree of Occupational Therapy and registration, and a member in good standing, with the College of Occupational Therapist of Ontario (COTO), in addition to:

- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience at KidsAbility or similar type of setting working as a paediatric Occupational Therapist, and a minimum of one (1) year supervisory or managerial experience is preferred
- Experience in clinical program planning, development and implementation, and evaluation, as well as supervisory or managerial experience in a unionized environment
- Demonstrated optimistic approach navigating and leading others through change or challenges with an ability to creatively solve problems and build consensus amongst staff
- Strong analytical skills, be organized and detail minded, be able to prioritize tasks to meet strict deadlines and have excellent follow-up
- Effective oral and written communication skills with high level of attention to detail, adherence to confidentiality standards and the ability to delegate as well as accept direction; committed to a team-oriented approach
- Ability to integrate sound clinical theory and practice, and commit to inter-professional process
- Possess a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle with public liability/property damage coverage as travel may be required

In addition to the above qualifications, the following skills and experience will be strong assets:

- Proven ability and willingness to work as an integral member of a team, as well as work independently with little direction, demonstrating self-motivation, adaptability and initiative
- Demonstrated collaboration, consultation and coaching skills working with diverse groups
- Excellent ambassador for KidsAbility with external stakeholders
- Knowledge of AlayaCare or other electronic charting software
