The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

- Lead a high performing team in the delivery of complex multidisciplinary water and wastewater projects.
- Work successfully within a team environment and communicate effectively with other project team members and clients.
- Work closely with process engineers and other discipline engineers, technicians, and administrative staff in the delivery of comprehensive designs.
- Complete technical reports, calculations, and undertake design decisions.
- Prepare technical specifications, tender documents, and review design drawings.
- Conduct technical quality reviews of deliverables.
- Coordinate design efforts, manage project schedules, track budgets and key financial performance metrics.
- Conduct periodic site visits and manage in construction administration activities.
- Manage commissioning activities related to water and wastewater treatment process start-up.
- Provide guidance to junior technical staff.
- Ability to work independently.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills as well as effective report writing.

**Qualifications** Minimum Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree +6 years of relevant experience or Diploma + 8 years of overseeing and co-ordinating all aspects of small to mid-size engineering projects or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Registered as a P.Eng. in the province of ON.
- Previous experience in the design and construction of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Previous experience with Class Environmental Assessments for water and/or wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Good working knowledge of industry standard and local municipal standards and guidelines are considered an asset.
- Proficient in common desktop packages, i.e. Word, Excel, MS Project, MS PowerPoint.
- Previous client facing project experience is considered an asset.
