Position Highlights

ICBC has an interesting opportunity for a People Experience Specialist to join our HR team. If you are described as a proactive

and collaborative specialist in workforce planning this position will be of interest to you

Reporting to the Manager, People Experience, the People Experience Specialist is responsible for developing people

engagement strategies and plans that will define the overall people research strategy & analytic approach, which will include

developing a people listening approach to collect people engagement and experience data. Flexible Work initiatives will also be

an area of focus. They will also define and maintain the employee value proposition for ICBC. Collaborating with HR leaders, the

Workforce Insights and Talent Acquisition teams, and other key leaders across the organization, this role requires a highly

collaborative approach to reach recommendations on workforce planning needs.

**Key responsibilities in this role include**:

- Design, implement, and maintain the key elements of the ICBC’s people experience plan, including people engagement plan,

flexible work strategy, employee flexible work strategy and policies and employee value proposition
- Design, implement, and maintain ICBC’s people research strategy & analytic approach, developing an employee listening

approach to collect people engagement and experience data
- Develop a feedback loop and use of research, data, and analysis to ensure measurement of People Experience initiatives and

programs
- Develop and manage project specific metrics and dashboards
- Act as the key point of contact for leaders across the organization, partnering to educate, communicate, and deliver people

experience services and data insights to support ICBC’s business objectives, using data insights to gain buy-in, and support for

people experience program development
- Support learning and communications regarding people experience and engagement in the business, upskilling leaders and

employees where applicable, and in collaboration with the central Learning team
- Collaborate with other HR Teams on the design of people experience initiatives
- Manage external partners/vendor relationships for specific projects

Position Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and experience:

- Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline (i.e., Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Behaviour,

etc.)
- Several years of related experience designing and implementing a people experience or engagement plan and initiatives at

large and complex organizations

- Demonstrated experience advising leaders in the business on people engagement insights and developmental areas based on

data-driven insights
- Demonstrated ability to collect and analyse data to assist in problem solving and informed decision making related to people

experience
- Ability to understand data to inform decision making
- Experience working within the insurance industry is an asset
