Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Representative to join our team in the manufacturing industry, with a specific focus on steel products. As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients, providing technical expertise, and driving sales growth within the steel sector.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Identify and target potential customers in the manufacturing sector who require steel products for their operations.

2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, engineers, and procurement professionals.

3. Provide technical expertise and support to clients, including product recommendations, customization options, and troubleshooting assistance.

4. Understand client requirements and collaborate with the technical sales team to develop tailored solutions.

5. Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions to clients, showcasing the benefits and features of our steel products.

6. Prepare and negotiate sales proposals, contracts, and quotations in consultation with the Technical sales Supervisor and management team.

7. Track market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify potential opportunities and risks.

8. Achieve sales targets, meet revenue objectives, and contribute to the overall growth of the business.

9. Foster a positive and fun team-based work environment by actively participating in team activities, sharing knowledge and best practices, and supporting colleagues.

**Requirements**:
1. Proven track record in technical sales, preferably within the manufacturing industry and specifically in the steel sector.

2. In-depth knowledge of steel products, manufacturing processes, and industry standards would be considered an asset.

3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.

4. Excellent presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

5. Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

6. Ability to analyze market trends, identify customer needs, and propose innovative solutions.

7. Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools.

8. Knowledge of Laser cutting, forming and fabrication of steel / Non ferrous products considered an asset

9. Ability to interpret shop drawings utilizing AutoCAD / Solidworks considered an Asset.

10. Valid driver's license.
