Toronto, Canada DSM Security Services Full time

We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees, visitors, and property. If you have a strong attention to detail and are committed to ensuring the safety of others, we want to hear from you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of unauthorized entry or activity
- Conduct regular security checks of the premises
- Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Provide assistance and guidance to employees and visitors
- Write detailed incident reports
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Security Guard or similar role
- Knowledge of CCTV systems, access control systems, and other security equipment
- Familiarity with law enforcement procedures
- Excellent surveillance and observation skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
- High school diploma or equivalent required

Preferred Skills:

- Previous experience in concierge or related field is a plus

**Salary**: $16.55-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
