Salaire : 15.50 $ - 16,00 $.

Résumé:
Le rôle d'un animateur de camp est d'assurer la sécurité des campeurs qui lui sont confiés et d'animer les diverses activités tout au long de la journée, tout en veillant à ce que l'expérience vécue au camp soit positive. Il incombe au animateurs de transmettre toutes les questions et préoccupations concernant ses campeurs au chef des animateurs ou au coordinateur qui lui a été attribué.

Responsabilités:
En saison- Organiser, diriger et animer les activités de leur groupe- Participer à toutes les activités du groupe- Superviser son groupe de campeurs afin d'assurer la sécurité.- En cas d'urgence, prodiguer les premiers soins- Discipliner ou corriger les campeurs si nécessaire- Communiquer les informations relatives aux problèmes des campeurs au responsable des conseillers ou au coordinateur.

Hors saison- Participer à la formation spécifique des moniteurs- Participer à la retraite annuelle obligatoire

Qualifications:
Doit être âgé de 16 ans ou plus- Bilingue (capacité à communiquer en français et en anglais)- Une expérience de travail avec les enfants et les familles est un atout.- Excellentes aptitudes à la communication, patience et leadership- Capacité à travailler en groupe, à diriger et à enseigner des activités.

Job Title: Day Camp Counselor

**Job Type**: Seasonal full time, Monday-Friday

Camp availability: June 24-August 23 2024 (must be available for 6 weeks during this time)

The shift will be in this time frame.

**Salary**: $15.50- $16.00

Summary:
The role of a camp counselor is to ensure the safety of their assigned campers and to animate the various activities throughout the day, all while ensuring a positive experience at camp. It is the responsibility of the counselor to relay any questions and concerns regarding their campers to their assigned counselor leader or coordinator.

**Responsibilities**:
On season- Organize, lead and animate their group activities- Participate in all group activities- Supervise their group of campers to ensure safety- In case of emergency, provide first aid- Discipline and or correct campers if need be- Communicate information regarding camper issues or concerns to the counselor lead or coordinator

Off Season- Attend counselor specific training- Attend mandatory yearly retreat

Qualifications:
Must be 16 yrs of age or older- Bilingual (ability to communicate in both French and English)- Experience working with children and families is an assert- Great communication skills, patience and leadership- Ability to work in a group, lead and teach activities
