We are looking for an energetic, outgoing team member to join our team **part-time (24-30 hours) **as an **OPTICAL ASSISTANT/FRAME STYLIST** at Downtown Vision, in the heart of downtown Toronto

**Responsibilities**:

- Selling glasses and contact lenses, including frame selection, taking measurements, frame adjustments and recommending lenses to patients
- Administering pre-testing before patients see the doctor
- Checking out patients, taking payments and processing insurance claims
- Booking appointments, including sending patient reminders and recalls
- Passionate about customer experience; a great communicator who can provide exceptional patient care
- Energetic, self-motivated to work and take up new initiatives
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- English proficiency (written and spoken)
- Good computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office suite
- **Previous knowledge/experience (1 year in optical or medical setting)**:

- Post-secondary education (bachelor’s degree or diploma)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.50-$21.00 per hour

Additional pay:
