**Summary**

**Responsibilities**:

- Procures materials components, equipment, supplies and services necessary for the operation of the company
- Plan, schedule, and monitor goods and services to meet the production requirements
- Set-up and maintain material, supplier and planning system data in the ERP system
- Responsible for the closure of ERP Jobs to ensure inventory accuracy for proper planning
- Exercise a good working knowledge of goods, services, and sources of supply to make purchases at prices consistent with quality and quantity requirements
- Determine material requirements from Engineering and production schedules and coordinate the efficient movement of materials through production cycle
- Identify and evaluate sources of supply consistent with quality and quantity requirement of the company
- Negotiate pricing, delivery, lead-time, etc, with supplier
- Perform follow-up activity to expedite delivery of goods/services with vendors, to include delivery tracking and validation of actual correct and timely delivery
- Maintain Vendor Quality scorecards and ensure vendors meet company requirements
- Maintain Approved Vendor list and make sure all required quality certifications are supplied by vendor
- Manage flow of materials for track material flow and reporting WIP, Inventory Levels, and other data as required
- Supports the implementation of supplier agreements, supplier quality agreements, volume pricing reductions, etc.
- Provide backup logistics support
- Take on special assignments as warranted; such as projects to resource commodities
- Work with receiving, finance and suppliers to reconcile discrepancies in receiving and invoicing
- Ensure that the highest quality standards are maintained in all functions & responsibilities of the job as well as executed in a manner, which supports companies’ quality standards
- Maintain KPI’s Metrics
- Other duties as assigned

**Education & Qualifications**
- BS in a Supply Chain and Operations Field, BA equivalent, certification, or relevant work experience
- 5-10 years’ experience of material buying and planning in a manufacturing setting
- Excellent communication skills
- fluency in speaking, reading and writing English is a must.
- Experience with ERP systems - Must have
- Experience in supply chain management and inventory control
- Demonstrated negotiation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office products
- Ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with external partners
- Must be a highly motivated self-starter and be able to work under ambiguity
- Must be organized and able to balance multiple priorities appropriately
- Must be goal-focused and committed to completing tasks
- Logical thinking with creative problem-solving ability
- Detail-orientated, highly motivated, patient and diligent
- Experience with cross functional work environment. Work collaboratively with finance, engineering, production and quality.

**Salary and Benefits**
- Salary: CAD 70,000 Annually (negotiable Depending on Experience)
