**Starting Salary**:$58,500 - $66,680, per year based on experience. Salary Range Max $76,060 [2023 Rates]

**The Role**

The Early Learning Documentation Specialist will be responsible for developing resources, presentations, and extensions to ELCC documentation that connect to inquiry-based learning and utilize foundational early learning documents.

The documentation specialist will work with ELCC Programs & Services and Partnerships & Infrastructure teams to provide documentation expertise for projects and programs. The specialist will attend meetings as needed, to plan, review and discuss proposed documentation projects.

**Duties include, but are not limited to**:
ELCC Program/Event Documentation:

- Work with ELCC staff to document all in-person/virtual events and online learning programs through photography and videography.
- Work with ELCC staff to determine the appropriate documentation needed for each event/program. Documentation could consist of the following: creating highlight videos, power points, snapshot videos for social media, and instructional “how to” videos.
- Develop required consent/media release documents for virtual and in-person events.
- Provide documentation expertise to ELCC staff on what is required for documenting an event by providing operational/filming considerations to enhance production quality.
- Meet with ELCC staff to review documentation projects, and provide strategic considerations for future documentation.
- Work with ELCC staff on compiling all photos/videos and any feedback from each event, to shared storage space.
- Work with the MNO Languages Team to include Key Michif words and French Translations for Resources when applicable.
- Work with MNO’s Communication team as needed, to create content for the MNO Website and Social Media platforms.
- Attend, record and document all virtual events/camps for the duration of the event. Attend planning meetings for events as required.
- Attend and document all in-person events/camps/conferences for the duration of the event, including setting up.
- For all events, set up and conduct interviews with key attendees/staff. Interviews could include: parents, educators, children, senators, MNO executives, and staff.
- For ELCC family events, document via photography and video children’s play and learning without any intervention.
- Work in collaboration with ELCC Specialists to develop a standardized process for all of ELCC to follow, ensuring that all documentation opportunities remain consistent across ELCC.
- Work in collaboration with ELCC Advisors and Specialists to support the development of online learning opportunities and workshop content.
- Attend meetings as needed, to plan, review and discuss proposed documentation projects.

Documentation Archive and Inventory:
Develop an ELCC archive within MNO’s secure storage system for all completed documentation of projects, events, and programs.

The archive will include a library of resources that have been developed and will contain all raw data and completed projects for future development, including: All raw footage from documented events
All photos, videos, and PowerPoints
All completed highlight videos and snapshots

Develop, maintain and monitor a supply list needed for all in-person and virtual events.

Develop, maintain and monitor an equipment inventory. Equipment required for the inventory includes: physical equipment (cameras, tripods, and lighting rings) and digital equipment (Adobe Creative Suite, and other production programs).

Determine secure storage and maintenance for all equipment. Create and maintain a maintenance checklist to ensure equipment remains in good condition.

**Knowledge, Skills & Attributes**:
