- Conduct screenings and assessments
- Assists families in determining goals for their infants/child and the means of attaining them. Plans, develops and implements support plans to meet these ends. Provides parenting skills training. Guides parents in activities specific to the needs of the infant/child
- Interview clients and families, assesses problems and outlines services provided by the organization
- Maintains accurate reports and records on clients. Ensures all required documentation is complete
- Participates in and discusses case planning at the Integrated Care Team Meetings
- Discuss child development and positive parenting practice with clients

**What You Will Bring to The Role**:

- ** A degree and/or relevant experience in a field related to early childhood development, or**:

- ** Two-year diploma in a social science or health science degree program required, or**:

- ** DONA International certified Doula, and**:

- ** Early Childhood Education certification is preferable**

**The Location**:Fort Saint James**, incorporated in 1952, has a population of approximately 4,700, including surrounding First Nations and rural communities. It is a tight knit community that offers an abundance of outdoor activities. The area has hundreds of lakes and rivers and a vast amount of rolling hills and forests. The local economy is well diversified, although resource oriented.
