Your future duties and responsibilities
As a Site Support Infra Technician, you will be called upon to manage requests and support systems in the manufacturing area. You will have to interact with different network management, servers and Desktop teams. You will of course have to take care of the installation and configuration of systems in addition to performing operations and support tasks, as well as participating in change management with our customers. Here are the main tasks:

- Provide prompt initial and follow up response to all assigned service requests, ensuring the standard performance requirement is met or exceeded.
- Perform complex moves, adds, changes of computer equipment
- Perform complex hardware and/or software upgrades to existing equipment
- Perform advanced network connections for desktops and printers
- Provide hands and feet support to assist in installation of Servers, Network LAN/WAN equipment including Firewalls, routers, Wireless access points, card swipe devices, UPS, WAN accelerators, and appliances,
- Perform IMAC (installation, move, add, change) or de-installation requests on LAN/WAN equipment including Firewalls, routers, switch, wireless access points, card swipe devices, UPS, WAN accelerators and appliances,
- Resolve or assist in resolution of technical network issues, work with 2nd and 3rd level support teams or external vendors
- Complete cabling or Bixing requests according to client specifications
- May be required to work with third party suppliers to maintain client equipment and assist in coordinating repairs as required
- Assist in development and update of procedures and documentation
- Perform Asset Management
- Providing service and customer support during field visits
- Managing on-site installation, repair, maintenance and testing
- Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions
- Producing detailed service reports
- Documenting processes

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- Secondary degree in a similar IT field or workplace experience
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position with a complex technical environment;
- Support will require in-depth knowledge of PC Hardware, both Desktop/Laptop OS options & settings, & network functionality.
- MUST HAVE substantial knowledge and expertise with Microsoft End-User Operating Systems (windows 10)
- Considerable experience with computer hardware, Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft environment, networking, printing, device configuration, connectivity and mobility, experience with migrations and enterprise-wide upgrades
- Associates degree in related IT disciplines, or equivalent and continual work history
- Working knowledge TCP/IP, DNS, basic network protocols, print queues and network printing
- Knowledge of ITSM processes including Ticketing Systems, such as BMC/ITSM, Service Now
- Experience with computer assets management/coordination functions

Desired Qualifications
- Minimum Years of directly related experience Required: 3-5

- French Speaking
- Independent worker that requires little supervision beyond initial scope expectation and transfer of requirement

Other requirements
- Valid Quebec Driver license
- Need to have access to a car as the work could be multiple sites (Saguenay Area)
