We are seeking a skilled and experienced Machinist to join our team. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines and tools to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications. Your expertise in machining techniques and ability to interpret technical drawings will be essential in ensuring the accurate and efficient production of components.

**Required Skills**:

- Read and interpret drawings
- Set up and operate a manual lathe
- Set up and operate a manual vertical mill
- Set up and operate horizontal and vertical bandsaws
- Inspect parts to confirm the quality
- Operate a forklift
- Operate overhead jib and gantry crane
- Fluent in English both verbal and written
- Clean and organized
- Red seal certified Journeyperson machinist

**Ideal Skills**:

- Program CNC lathe and mill
- Set up CNC lathe and mill
- Operate CNC lathe and mill

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $24.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Maple Ridge, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
