**Part Time server and barista My Cup Of Tea is an afternoon tea house located at Richmond Hill, serving British afternoon tea, dessert and fresh grind coffee.**
**6 to 7.5 hours per shift, 2-3 days per week**
**- Full year position, not seasonal**
**- Work independently with mínimal oversight**
**- Prepare specialty coffee, tea and variety of non-alcoholic drinks to customers**
**- Work as part of a team to ensure customer satisfaction**
**- Suggest items to customers to ensure their satisfaction and increase sales**
**- Take customer orders, enter into POS system, and ensure accuracy prior to delivering to guest**
**- Take customer payments when they are ready to close out their tab**
**- Handle customer complaints as needed and elevate them to a supervisor as required.**
**- Multitasking and handling ongoing priorities all at once**
**- Arrange table settings and maintain area clean and tidy**
**- Follow all food safety standards and systems**
**-Be aware of any special requests, inclusive of guest allergies**
**-Complete opening, closing and side-duties efficiently and safely**
**-Cleaning and sanitizing all work area**

Operation hours:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday to Sunday: 12pm to 6:00pm

**Qualifications**:
- Experience working as a barista is a plus, not a must, barista training can be provided
- Minimum 1 year as a waiter or waitress in café or restaurant experience is a plus
- Ability to work on your feet through an entire shift on your feet
- Must speak English fluently. Cantonese-speaking is an asset but not necessary
- Active listening and effective communication skills
- Ability to multitask
