About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders, and serve beverages with a smile.
  • Coffee Preparation: Prepare and brew high-quality coffee drinks, including espresso, cappuccino, and latte.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and serve simple food items, such as pastries and sandwiches.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the kitchen, dining area, and restrooms.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies, including coffee beans, syrups, and other ingredients.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and sanitize equipment, including coffee machines, grinders, and dishwashers.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Certifications: Food Safety Certificate required.
  • Language: English language proficiency required.
Work Environment

As a Barista at Drumroaster Coffee, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing excellent customer service. You will be required to stand for extended periods, lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs), and work under pressure.
