At **Bravo Target Safety** our priority is to get all workers home safely every day. It is our duty to conduct all operations in a safe and professional manner with accountability to our employees, clients, and other stakeholders. We provide safety coordination, project planning, and trained safety personnel for turn around, construction, drilling, and day-to-day field operations.

We are currently accepting resumes for the role of **Field Operations Supervisor.** This role reports directly to the **Oil Sands Area Manager (Fort McMurray)**. The Field Operations Supervisor will work in collaboration with the Field Supervisors, Operations Coordinators, Area Managers & Project Managers to conduct field inspections ensuring compliance while amplifying Bravo Target Safety’s Mission, Vision, Values, and Safety Concepts and Principles to all workers.

**Job Duties**:

- Communicate regularly with Operations Coordinators (Dispatch), HSEQ, Project Managers, and Area Manager
- Conduct field inspections and submit required reports to the Area Manager and HSEQ Manager via Intelex or any other required reporting methods
- Promote Bravo Target Safety’s Mission, Vision, Values, and general safety culture to all workers
- Understand and show leadership in Safety Concepts and Principles such as RICE, Risk Management 4-T’s, MOC (Management of Change) and PDCC (Plan, Do, Check, Correct)
- Must be familiar with and understand Bravo Target Safety’s Health and Safety Program, Best Policies Manual and Transportation Manual
- Mentor and coach all field staff as needed
- Immediately correct any deficiencies or unsafe work practices and follow up on deficiencies in a timely manner
- Conduct and participate in any incident investigations as required
- Maintain consistent involvement with customers on active work sites. Must have the ability to rectify any issues either on location or through reporting to the Area Manager
- Prioritize your day around workers experience and criticality of the job
- Plan career and development discussions, identify resources and provide workers with access to the information to help them develop in their roles
- Help establish succession planning and personnel development of workers
- Work with the appropriate Manager to have input into annual performance reviews of workers
- Work with peers on planning for upcoming work, receiving client feedback post-project work, and integrating continuous improvement strategies
- Partner with Operations to aid in planning and preparing for peak season readiness
- Continually build on knowledge of the company and how to maintain a strong safety-culture

**Requirements**:

- Proven track record of exceptional internal and external customer service
- Demonstrate leadership in all aspects of the job
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with solid attention to detail, organizational, time management and multitasking skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a wide variety of people including office staff, diverse cultures, and various work experience levels
- Ability to follow through and complete overlapping projects
- High level of sound and independent judgment, reasoning, and discretion
- Willingness and ability to undertake training needed to fulfil the changing requirements of the position
- Ability to work overtime as required
- Relevant field experience and or certification in safety, firefighting, medical, engineering, petroleum, power-engineering or equivalent
- H2S Alive
- Standard First-Aid CPR/AED Level A or C (or equivalent)
- Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
- Class 5 Drivers License
- Minimum 10-years’ experience within Oil and Gas sector
- Minimum 5 years experience having direct responsibility and accountability for workers, equipment, and work processes
- Working knowledge of authoritative standards which govern O&G sector operations including NIOSH, NFPA, CSA and Canadian Provincial H&S legislation; all of which deal with care and control of critical life-systems, breathing-air, atmospheric monitoring, vehicles and equipment
- Familiar with Canadian DOT, TDG, and Transport Canada regulations pertaining to handling and hauling dangerous goods and materials
- NCSO, OH&S CRSP or related professional designation an asset
- Post-secondary education in business, petroleum, leadership, or like studies an asset
- **Credit may be given for experience or related educational achievement and may be considered in lieu of recommended professional designation.**
