**On-Site Supervisor - DOW Fort Sask.**

Procor Limited manages Canada’s largest private tank car lease fleet and operates an extensive repair network across the country. The fleet has grown to include more than 30,500 special purpose tanks and freight cars. Procor also operates 27 repair locations servicing petroleum, petrochemicals, plastics, chemicals, fertilizers, and food markets.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the On-site Supervisor will be responsible for the site repair requirements and for ensuring that Procor employees work safely and in a Responsible Care environment. This position is responsible for achieving or exceeding key performance indicators through the optimum management of the operational duties and on-site team.

**Job Duties**:

- Managing our ongoing operations at DOW-Fort Saskatchewan customer site.
- Provide leadership and direction to hourly direct reports while maintaining a positive and respectful work environment
- Responsible for the facility’s production targets while controlling expenditures
- Continually develop on-site team skills for cross skill development, succession planning and ensure proper staffing levels are maintained
- Communicate with the on-site customer to ensure a continual flow of work for the facility, while maintaining a target back-log of work
- Develop and implement initiatives for operational improvement and growth
- Enforce all safety rules and procedures set by both the company and the customer, including regular task-observations of employees
- Manage the facility’s Quality Assurance program in accordance with corporate and AAR regulatory standards
- Submit required metrics and documentation in a timely manner
- Manage material and inventory in accordance with company targets
- Other related responsibilities as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Combinations of formal education and role experience will be considered with minimum three (3) years’ experience of a team lead production leadership role
- 3+ years’ experience in a production or repair facility, preferably rail-related
- Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal and team building skills
- Strong organization, planning and problem-solving skills
- Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
- Knowledge of AAR rules, M1002 and M1003 standards is an asset
- Experience in process management, quality assurance programs, and continual improvement programs (Lean, Six-Sigma) are assets
- Highly adaptable and responsive to changes in the work environment
- In-depth knowledge of confined space entry procedures and working at heights is preferred
- Adhere to company health and safety standards (including the Responsible Care policy) and wear the required personal protective equipment for the job in a safe manner
- Valid driver’s license
- Eligible to work in Canada
