As the Junior Estimator, you need to strive to foster a culture that prevents quality compliance violations from occurring. Additionally, it is essential to follow all local safety procedures and processes diligently.
Your expertise lies in devising manufacturing system pathways for the remarkable products crafted and processed at the Edmonton facility. You consistently ensure the precise delivery of high-quality products by upholding a standard of excellence. This includes maintaining accuracy in all quotation and requisition details and delivering quotes within the specified timeframe upon receiving inquiries.
Your keen eye never fails to monitor product manufacturing route costs, ensuring to achieve budget targets. Your dedication to efficiency is truly remarkable, always striving to produce products using the most efficient method of manufacture possible. Maintain accurate and detailed records of relevant processes and activities
You can ensure incredible cost accuracy of everything captured within the manufacturing system to achieve phenomenal cost-effectiveness and complete compliance with both customer and internal requirements.
Your dynamic role involves collaborating with the regional sales team, preparing quotes, managing contracts, overseeing inventory reports, and efficiently administering costs, purchases, and services.
Building and nurturing trust-based relationships with customers is second nature to you, ensuring prompt and informative updates on dispatched products and orders while facilitating expedited deliveries as needed.
A master of multitasking, you ensure the seamless and accurate processing of quotes, sales and purchase orders, and other customer requests, contributing significantly to customer satisfaction and sales optimization.
Your acute attention to detail and stellar customer service skills enables proactive solutions, engaging with key stakeholders like the Sales Manager, Regional Sales Team, and Supply Chain (Order fulfillment, Logistics, Warehouse).
**Key Technical Requirements**:
- Experience in estimating and/or controlling time and costs in a manufacturing environment or similar.
- A trade background in heavy engineering and manufacturing, cost control experience advantageous.
- Mechanical Engineering Technologist desirable
