_Dental Assistant Level I or II _
This is a position for a certified dental assistant for our full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgery specialty practice. We have three offices
At Blueridge OMS, we focus the care we deliver to our patients around three principles: surgical excellence, convenience and innovation.
Our specific roles and responsibilities are those expected for a certified level II assistant, such as, but not limited to:
- Preparation and organization of treatment/clinical area(s) and all equipment kits and assemblies
- Cleaning and sterilization of all surgical instruments and equipment
- Conducts spore/biological indicator tests as needed
- Obtains vital signs for patients receiving treatments under sedation
- Assisting surgeon with surgery alongside our nurses
- Proper use of high-volume evacuator during all surgical procedures
- Expose, process, and mount radiographs as specified by HARP certification
- Assessment of emergency situations and knowledge of emergency protocols, First Aid and CPR
- Maintain supplies and equipment (stocks and replenishes supplies) and monitors inventory
- Intraoral scanning in preparation of surgical
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 -40 per week
**Salary**: $22.00-$27.00 per hour
