ChaiGuys is thrilled to announce its launch in November 2023 at the University of Ottawa, located at 85 University Private. We are currently recruiting motivated team members to join us on this exciting journey.

**Position Title: General Staff**

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Customer Service**
- Greet customers with a friendly and positive attitude
- Assist customers in choosing menu items and provide recommendations
**Food and Beverage Preparation**
- Prepare and package food items from warmers
- Craft a range of beverages, including chai, smoothies, and other specialty drinks
**Sales**
- Accurately and efficiently process customer orders, ensuring that they receive their desired items promptly
**Inventory Management**
- Receive and inspect incoming inventory shipments
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to management
**Cleanliness and Hygiene**
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while regularly cleaning and sanitizing equipment and utensils
- Follow sanitation and food safety guidelines to ensure a safe and healthy environment
**Communication and Teamwork**
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to address customer concerns and maintain quality service

- Quick learning and adaptability to grasp our menu and operational processes
- Strong communication skills to effectively work with team members and management

- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderately heavy objects

**Assets**:

- Bilingualism (French and English)
- Prior experience in the hospitality and food industry
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- On call
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:
