**How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?**:
The HSEQ Manager role is a member of the Hamilton Complex management team and supports the entire site for applicable HSEQ requirements.
**Health, Safety and Environment**:

- Familiarity with the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations.
- Performs compliance audits of site conditions, program effectiveness and other regulatory/company assurance.
- Presents information and recommendations to site management in a professional manner.
- Makes recommendations and plans for compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines.
- Assists site in the reporting of incidents, near misses, and potential hazards.
- Manages site HSE training, including content development, coordination, delivery and maintenance of records.
- Supports site management to further HSE goals and objectives.
- Prepares and facilitates monthly safety meetings. Solicits employee improvement ideas and coordinate actions with management to resolve employee concerns.
- Manages HSE initiatives at the site level (Safestart, Safe Work Permit process, Safety Observations, Near Miss, etc)
- Assists facility management in incident investigations for injuries and near misses, using industry standard methodologies, such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Taproot, 5-Whys, Bow-Tie, etc.
- Administers safety rules and guidelines to contractors working on property.
- Ensures effectiveness of the Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) process. Assesses to ensure appropriate evaluation and update of the Job Hazard Analysis takes place for the functional areas impacted.
- Monitors and interprets regulatory compliance to ensure compliance with new Air Liquide, federal, and state issued regulation requirements.
- Reporting of environmental incidents to the city and the Province of Ontario.
- Reviews and approves the purchase of all safety-related items for the site.
- Administers the local Emergency Action Plan and Hazard Communication Program
- Designs and implements site emergency drills in coordination with HSE strategic themes.
- Ensures the Safety Data Sheet system is current and effective.
- Other duties as assigned by the Facility Manager.

**Quality**:

- Implements and maintains the quality management system for the site, using the ISO and IMS standards.
- Continuously improves the quality system at the facility.
- Assist with the upkeep of the local procedures and alignment with the level 1 and 2 documents.
- Tracks, supports and ensures compliance with the quality KPI’s at the facility.
- Ensure employees are informed of the quality system and trained on the relevant material.
- Responsible for Annual Product Quality Review.
- Responsible for quality audit preparations and audit facilitation, inclusive of gap closure plan and action development and Intelex reporting.
- Owner and responsible for the upkeep and management of the CoA and Bill of lading for bulk sales. Responsible for the final review and approval of Batch test results and CoA’s.

- Must possess a High school diploma or GED
- Diploma in Safety management or Quality management
- 5+ years of experience in an industrial environment
