**Duties** **and responsibilities**:
® Using Global Positioning Systems to monitor the location of the drivers

® Communicating with brokers, carriers, and customers

® Directing and organizing logistics activities that may include obtaining shipping rates or negotiating with service providers

® Ensuring carrier compliance with company policies and procedures

® Ensuring prompt receipt and delivery of equipment to and from customers

® Coordinating deliveries with other work units or departments

® Dealing with conflict and being able to solve it quickly

® Estimate the amount of time needed to complete a job

® Manage the schedule efficiently to maximize workflow

® Estimate the quantity of materials needed to complete the job

® Keep track of incoming and outgoing products, equipment, or materials

® Closely monitor the production of each project

® Consult regularly with clients, suppliers, and Production Managers

® Ensure all projects are completed by the deadline

**Qualifications**:
® Previous experience in logistics or supply chain management preferred

® Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

® Proficient in using phone systems and phone etiquette

® Ability to type accurately and efficiently

® Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS)

® Knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices

® Experience with freight forwarding or 3PL operations is a plus

® Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

® Customer service skills

® Ability to work in a team environment

® Knowledge of GPS systems and geography

® Multitasking skills

® Ability to resolve conflict and solve problems

® Knowledge of basic computer programs and aptitude to learn new software systems

® Excellent communication skills

® Excellent time management skills

® Flexibility

® Organizational skills

**Salary**: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
