With properties at Grasswood Junction in Saskatoon, Beauval and Patuanak, English River Property Management, which is part of Des Nedhe Group, hosts a wide-ranging group of tenants. Convenience stores, gas bars and pharmacy service the north while a growing number of Indigenous and non-Indigenous tenants are located at Grasswood Junction.

**Job Title**: Commercial Property Manager

**Job Summary**:The Commercial Property Manager provides day-to-day management services to commercial property by liaising with, tenants and trades; arranging and supervising building repairs and maintenance; attending on-site for meetings and inspections; creating and implementing budgets; reviewing and reporting on financials; and, communicating with others to solve issues as they arise, all while maintaining solid relationships with our clients and service providers.

**Reports To**: Director, Land Development

**Scope of Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for day-to-day operations of the property, including accounting, tenant relations, maintenance and repair, security, janitorial services, landscaping, snow removal, etc.
- Assists in preparing the annual budget, reporting, capital planning, and property financial performance.
- Respond to tenant requests/problems in a timely and courteous manner.
- Create and manage work orders including assigning to appropriate vendors or maintenance staff and follow up to confirm resolution.
- Ensure that there is a 24-hour emergency coverage for the property at all times.
- Meet with the property management team, tenants, and external partners to resolve challenges and implement new initiatives.
- Accountable for the fire, life and health and safety of operations within the building.
- Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of resources and financial performance.
- Lead and develop property management staff.
- Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership and suggesting improvements.
- Manage inspection and audit process for services delivered.
- Manage and report non-conformances and critical incidents.

- Post-secondary/college program diploma in Business Administration is considered an asset.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in management.
- Valid driver’s license.
- The ability to adapt quickly to new situations.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Enthusiastic attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to stay calm in stressful situations.
- Commitment to building relationships with people from all walks of life.
- Motivated and adventurous personality.
