Planting Team Driver

The successful applicant would be responsible for safely loading, securing, and delivering product and equipment to planting sites. This person would ensure accuracy of the order and directions to site prior to departure. The successful applicant would support the planting crew by:

- Performing daily inspections of equipment as per MTO regulations
- Assisting in loading of trucks and trailers
- Ensuring loads are safe and secure as per MTO regulations
- Assisting planting team in delivery and installation of plant material
- Providing manual labour to assist the crew when required?
- Reporting problems and concerns to shop manager
- Ensuring trucks are cleaned, fueled and ready for the next day

**Requirements**:
The successful applicant would be required to have:

- Valid Ontario AZ Drivers’ License with 3+ years driving experience
- Clean driving abstract
- Ability to work extended hours including Saturdays when required
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability and willingness to perform manual labour

**Recommendations**

The successful applicant would be recommended to have:

- Construction experience
- Basic Plant knowledge
- Basic mechanical knowledge
- Machine operation experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 9 months

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 55 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Heavy & Tractor-Trailer Truck Drivers: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Class A Licence (required)

Ability to Commute:

- Stayner, ON (preferred)
