Basic Function:
The Project Manager is responsible for all site activities including planning, scheduling, organizing, overseeing and directing subcontractors, equipment, materials, site safety, quality and resources.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan & prepare project schedules.
- Source materials based off of design and project drawings and coordinate delivery to job site.
- Coordinate scheduling of subcontractors on jobsites.
- Managing multiple employees and subcontractors.
- Work with the site construction team, consultants, sub-trades, and suppliers to ensure they are meeting all project contractual obligations.
- Understand and implementing layout, framing, and finishing of typical remodeling projects such as kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and full-scale additions.
- Oversee subcontractor and material costs, ensuring projects remain within budget
- Communicating with clients: advising of scheduling, requesting information as needed, and seeking signoff for contract changes/change orders

**Qualifications**:

- Post-Secondary Diploma or Certificate in Engineering or proven related field experience.
- 1-2 years of construction experience, previous work as a project coordinator is an asset.

To be successful in this role you need to have:

- Absolute knowledge of materials, specifications, quality control, cost control, safety, and applicable building codes.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings, building codes and legal permits.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to clearly explain and implement scope of work, provide clear directions, and work closely with employees, subcontractors and homeowners.
- Strong business acumen in project planning and management.
- Must have a clean driving record, valid G license and a vehicle for travelling to job sites.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to be flexible in managing changing priorities; have an acute attention to detail
- Highly developed communication skills - both written and oral.
