Quik's Farm Ltd. is a wholesale cut flower grower based in Chilliwack, BC, with over 20 acres of indoor growing space and 35 acres of seasonal outdoor production. Established in 1990, Quik’s Farm is geared towards the intense production of cut Chrysanthemums, Oriental Lilies, Alstroemeria, and different seasonal crops, utilizing state of the art growing systems and leading-edge technology to produce high quality products for our diverse customer base throughout Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest USA.

Currently there is a opening for a to act as front desk attendant and customer service representative at our McSween location in Chilliwack, BC. **Responsibilities**:

- Enter daily sales orders into the system, follow through on invoicing and shipping documentation.
- Assist with taking sales calls, entering orders into the system, and follow through with various customers on status of deliveries.
- Prepare invoices and shipping documentation, utilizing key attention to detail to check for errors.
- Maintain accounts receivable records and monitor all outgoing EDI transmissions.
- Assist with accounts receivable duties under supervision from the Accounting Manager.
- Attending the main telephone switchboard, routing calls to appropriate departments.
- Assist with inventory management as required.
- General receptionist duties such as maintaining office supplies, keeping office area and board room tidy, prepare board room for meetings, receive parcels, etc.,
- Greet visitors and give appropriate directions.

**Qualifications**:

- Must be advanced at using Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Possess strong and effective communication skills.
- Effectively identify and prioritize tasks on day-to-day basis.
- Ability to multi-task in a high production environment
- Possess strong interpersonal skills essential to developing lasting relationships with both internal and external customers.
- Ability to take initiative on challenging assignments.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify areas of improvement in existing business processes.
- A keen sense of attention to detail in all assigned tasks.

Ability to assist in creating customer presentations using basic functions on Canva and PowerPoint would be considered an asset.

**Education**: Completion of Grade 12. Post secondary business administration certificate or degree will be considered an asset.

**Work Experience**: A minimum of two years of experience in an office environment and in a field related to Sales, Customer Service, Administration, or Reception. Experience in a cut floral company or further understanding of the floral business will be strongly considered a key asset.

**Language**: Must be fluent in English language.
