Nu Build Contracting Inc. is a full turnkey fiber, copper and network infrastructure contractor for Major communication and utility companies. Nu Build Contracting focuses on projects in the GTA, Simcoe, Southwestern Ontario and Durham involving directional drilling, trenching, aerial work, fiber splicing, internal piping, MDU wiring, hydro vac excavation, cabling maintenance and construction and replacement of underground wiring.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
Nu Build Contracting has an opportunity available in Vaughan, ON for an ambitious individual to take on the role of Project Manager. You will be directly responsible for planning, organizing, and directing project related activities as they relate to the business.
**As a Project Manager at Nu Build Contracting, you will**:
- Manages and maintains project schedules and budgets
- Establishes contractual relationships for projects and ensures performance is consistent with those agreements
- Maintains effective communications with owner(s) and key project participants (project management, financial stakeholders, local government officials, and sub-contractors) of each project
- Ensures that projects remain focused on the letter and intent of approval documents and, when necessary, document changes
- Oversees the monitoring of projects costs and productions in order to ensure early recognition of negative trends such that corrective measures can be implemented ASAP.
- Ensures that the quality workmanship (including engineering and project management) meet or exceed standards identified in approval documents while remaining within the project budget
- Keeps lines of communication open and effective among all project stakeholders
- Reports to NuBuild Leadership and owner on relevant information to completion of projects
- Ensures that safety and environmental standards pertaining to project activities are met or exceeded
- Anticipates potential objections/issues in project; prepares short/long term solutions to issues
- Generates new solutions to overall projects problems
- May participate in meetings and strategy sessions with NuBuild Leadership team
**To be Successful at Nu Build Contracting, you will have the following qualifications and experience**:
- Experience in the Telecommunications construction field, strong understanding of utility distribution networks and project management.
- Knowledge of business plans, customer requirements, and market.
- Ability to read, evaluate and interpret schematics, diagrams and maps.
- Strong understanding of Rogers, Bell and Cogeco work, procedures, and expectations
- A high level of personal motivation and enthusiasm
- Ability to work within a team as well as individually and Customer focused
- Planning and organizing skills,
- Quick learner, hard worker, good commercial awareness
