**Job Overview**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. We require a skilled individual to perform bookkeeping duties for our company. This is a part time position that could become full-time in the future. Hours are flexible but work is required in office.

**Duties**
- Prepare journal entries and posting entries in QuickBooks
- Bank, credit card, and accounting reconciliation
- Creating and filing of HST returns
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
- Analyze general ledger - make correcting entries as needed
- Generating trial balance & financial statements
- Maintain accurate financial records by recording day-to-day transactions and completing the posting process.

**Skills**
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is essential.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Experience with payroll processing and related compliance requirements.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data accurately.
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and external stakeholders.

**Working Conditions**
- In-office position
- Part-time, schedule is flexible.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required
