**SUMMARY DESCRIPTION**:

- Manage and supply parts and services to the operations in a high-volume manufacturing facility

**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Create requisitions for goods and services and purchase orders.
- Expedite orders and monitor incoming shipments to ensure they are delivered in a timely manner through shipment tracing and follow up.
- Order office supplies and give them to staff
- Manage binders with chemical lists
- Do physical inventory counts as required on certain products
- Work with staff users and vendors to discuss quality defects and implement a corrective action
- Carry out monthly cost savings meetings with buyers.
- Pick-up parts from local suppliers when machinery is down
- Invoicing problem-solving with Accounts Payable. Work with Shipping and Receiving to resolve packing slip discrepancies.
- Prepare customs export documentation as needed.
- Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service support and product availability. Review delivery performance, production lead times and distribution capabilities
