**Job description**:

- Responsible for set up and service of Restaurant meals. Several types of service involved, including plated and buffet dinners and breakfasts, working lunches, coffee breaks and banquet bar-tending and room service.
- Complete set up and tear down of meetings, and functions, including the moving of banquet tables and chairs.
- Describe menu items including daily specials for customers, Advise on menu selections.
- Maintaining service areas.
- Clearing tables and providing quality service to our guests.
- Balancing of cash outs.
- Responsible to ensure all our guests leave with a positive dining experience

**Job requirements**:

- Previous Banquet or Fine Dining experience is required.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Must be able to work breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
- Must be a team player.
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to multi-task and handle competing priorities
- Experience in a food and beverage environment is an asset'

**Duties**:

- Greeting and seating customers
- Taking, confirming orders and relaying to the kitchen or bar staff
- Serving food
- Serving alcohol
- Busing, cleaning, and resetting tables
- Prep or side work
- Preparing bill and processing payment
- Assisting kitchen, such as plating and garnishing menu items
- Reconciling daily cash transactions

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $16.55 per hour

- serving: 1 year (preferred)
- fine dining: 1 year (preferred)
- Hotel: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Smart Serve, SIR or equivalent (preferred)
