**Job Summary**
**Duties**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure the highest quality of food service.
- Assist with inventory management, including tracking supplies and placing orders as needed.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during meal service.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety regulations within the food industry.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in meal preparation.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
