**Casual Maintenance Worker**

The TLC is seeking a mature and professional individual who excels at customer service and thrives in a fast-paced environment, to support our operations team.

The Maintenance Worker is required to assist with the efficient and safe operation of the facility, equipment, and grounds/parking lot of the TransAlta Tri Leisure Centre. The Maintenance Worker shall assist with the development and implementation of preventative maintenance in accordance with the TransAlta Tri Leisure Centre’s preventative maintenance program.

The Maintenance Worker will have well-rounded and demonstrated maintenance experience, equipment operations and knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety. Additionally, the individual will demonstrate independent decision-making, problem solving, and analytical skills, along with an exceptional customer service focus.

Applicants must provide evidence of current standard First Aid/CPR/AED certification taken within the last two (2) years and provide a criminal record and child welfare check prior to commencement of employment. A minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of maintenance related experience in a Community Services or Recreation Facility is preferred. Certificates in trades such as electrical and/or plumbing would be considered an asset. Experience with operating a skid steer is also an asset.

Wage Range: $26.96 - $30.47/hour
