**EMPLOYMENT STATUS**:Permanent Part-Time(min. 24 hours weekly)

**REPORTING TO**: Building Foreman

**WAGE RANGE**:$31.69/ hr to start (this hourly rate includes 14% in lieu of benefits) *2024 rate

**MAIN DUTIES**:
Under the supervision of the Building Forman, inspects, provides service on maintenance and building systems, life systems, building contents and grounds and reports resolution and/or findings to Supervisor in writing.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
Minimum grade 12 with technical education/experience. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude. Ability to read and understand blueprints. Knowledgeable in building management systems. Specific knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems and/or HVAC is a definite asset. Valid Ontario Driver’s license and a reliable vehicle with insurance. Good interpersonal skills, basic computer skills and ability to understand written/verbal communication. Minimum 2 years’ experience in construction and building maintenance. Boom/Scissor lift training an asset. Building Environmental systems operator course an asset.
