**Position Summary**
Reporting to the Director of Entertainment, the Box Office Manager will run all activities and oversee all coordination related to ticketing services for events at Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto Venue. Responsible for the day-to-day operations and supervision of all ticketing within the Venue, building the ticketing, settling the events, managing the box office staff, and ensuring the safety, comfort, and smooth flow of patrons into the space during events and performances.
**Major Responsibilities**
- Execute all Box Office staffing operation requirements including scheduling, training, and building of ticketing pricing matrix including discount codes, special offers, etc. Create and implement policies and procedures related to Box Office Operations promoting excellent customer service, special accommodations, refunds, etc.
- Be a key player in the planning and preparation for programming by recommending ticketing price points and sales initiatives for the Entertainment and Marketing departments. Review post-event analysis for future planning purposes.
- Support Guest Services in booking tickets for Total Rewards and VIP Patrons and manage in-person and group ticket sales for all performances, including initial outreach, inquiry, booking, payment, and relationship management.
- Prepare ticketing sales reports related to swift show settlements.
- Ensure quick resolution of patron seating issues or special needs.
- Oversee the execution of, and adherence to, safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Required Qualifications**
- Experience in a leadership position in theatre, audience management, or large-scale events settings.
- Outstanding verbal and written skills communication skills
- Demonstrated customer service experience where de-escalation, empathy, strong verbal and listening skills were exercised.
- Excellent organizational skills, managing multiple projects at the same time and the ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced, demanding, and timeline sensitive environment.
- Strong computer skills with a basic mastery of Outlook and Excel, general familiarity with POS systems and e xperience working with ticketing software or other client management systems
- Simple accounting with emphasis on accurate preparation and maintenance of financial records, daily reports and deposits.
- Experience in a unionized environment and training in Event Safety, First Aid, CPR and AED knowledge are a plus
- Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends including holidays, as required to support operational requirements.

**Work Environment Considerations**
- Regular stadium and back-office environment, standing for long periods of time, non-traditional work hours.
