**The role**:
**Your main tasks will include**:

- Completing pilot plant data collection, wet lab analysis, data interpretation, and data management (training provided).
- Preparing test samples for external lab analysis, coordinating with external labs, executing quality control, and managing and distributing all data.
- Assisting with keeping the lab organized and ordering supplies when needed.
- Executing test procedures, interpreting data, and proposing next steps.
- Operating pilot scale industrial desalination plants and performing lab scale bench tests (training provided).
- Writing completion reports as required.
- Pilot plant maintenance work (training provided).

**You will be a great fit if you have**:

- A degree or diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Technology, or Environmental Technology.
- 0 to 3 years of post-graduation experience.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems quickly and efficiently.
- A strong safety ethic with a keen focus on maintaining a clean and tidy work environment.
- Proficiency in working with tools, industrial instruments, and lab equipment.
- Ability to diligently collect data and prepare reports.
- Profound attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Solid computer skills and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to maintain a high quality of work and quickly learn new skills.
- Ability to balance many tasks, manage priorities, and work well under pressure.
- A team first attitude and are ready to roll up your sleeves and pitch in as required.
