**Duration: November 2024- June 2025**

**Remuneration: Project-based, contingent on deliverable**

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Donor Identification & Engagement**

**- **Research and identify prospective corporate, business, and individual donors aligned with MIAG’s mission.
- Develop a plan for donor recognition and appreciation, including ideas for acknowledgment (e.g., certificates, shout-outs on social media, or thank-you events) to encourage sustained support.
- Track and report on donor outreach activities, including the number of new contacts made, follow-up communications, and responses received, with monthly progress reports.

**Campaign & Outreach Development**
- Maintain ongoing communication with prospective and existing donors, keeping them informed of MIAG’s programs and impact.
- Fundraising campaigns in CanadaHelps, Zeffy and Benevity

**Fundraising Event Support**
- Design and manage a donor outreach calendar, including community events and corporate engagement opportunities.
- Coordinate donor-focused events in collaboration with the MIAG team to maintain visibility and strengthen donor relationships.
- Provide orientation and guidance to students and volunteers on donor outreach methods.

**Milestones & Deliverables**:

- Revise and develop outreach materials for donor engagement.
- Achieve fundraising targets in donations within the agreed-upon timeframe.
- Secure partnerships with at least 5 new corporates or community donors.
- Develop at least 3 distinct fundraising campaigns tailored to different donor segments (e.g., individuals, corporations, local businesses) within the project timeline.
- Submit a comprehensive final report at the end of the contract period detailing all activities, outcomes achieved (including total funds raised), and recommendations for future fundraising efforts.

**Qualifications**:
**Experience**:Minimum of three years in fundraising or donor relations, with a proven record in achieving or exceeding fundraising targets.

**Skills**: Strong donor engagement skills; excellent written and verbal communication.

**Education**: Bachelor’s degree in fundraising, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
