**Consultant, Talent Development**
***position working out of EPCOR Tower in Edmonton, AB.

What you’d be responsible for
- Providing input to the Talent Development strategy and plans.
- Developing and implementing deliverables that meet or exceed quality expectations within the context of the Talent Development business plan.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop and deliver learning programs and events.
- Identifying the time, resource and budget requirements for new projects. Ensuring program development follows the Learning & Development curriculum design process.
- Using a variety of innovative and creative virtual or in-class tools and delivery methods, to support and enable the delivery of leadership and professional development programs.
- Facilitating virtual or classroom learning programs in alignment with talent development standards and adult learning best practices.
- Ensuring Talent Development programs achieve desired results. Developing and tracking metrics to quantify program outcomes.
- Continually identifying opportunities and implementing solutions to improve upon current business operations.
- Nurturing and supporting a respected internal learning and employment brand that is inclusive and learner centered.
- Demonstrating a high performance, high discipline, safe, accountable, focused, innovative and achievement-oriented, easy to-do-business-with manner of working.

What’s required to be successful
- An Undergraduate Degree in Adult Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or related program.
- Post-secondary certification or learning in adult education (CACE) and/or coaching (ACC) is an asset.
- 5+ years of related experience focused on virtual and conventional learning development and delivery.
- Possess a deep understanding of the linkages between learning, leadership, culture, change, organizational effectiveness and engagement.
- Experience in similarly regulated, operations-driven organizations is an asset.
- Embody principles of inclusion in learning development and delivery.
- Proven ability to develop and deliver learner-centered programs and initiatives.
- Demonstrate ability to manage internal stakeholder and external consultant relationships and deliverables.
- Exceptional group facilitation skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Demonstrate project management skills and excellent written/oral communication skills.
- Experience using learning management systems (Moodle).
- Proficient at collaborating with customers and stakeholders with different leadership and communication styles and preferences.
