The Role:
Come join a dynamic team dedicated to designing and delivering innovative services that are shaping the future of health and wellness. The Product Management team at Medcan is accountable for driving double digit growth for a large portfolio of strategic, client-centric offerings.

In this full-time role, the Product Associate will focus on assisting in business planning and forecasting, compiling ongoing competitive intelligence, collaborating on demand generation, and analyzing purchase behaviours. This role will support the product lifecycle to ensure revenue growth, profitability, and superior client satisfaction goals are met. You will work closely with teams across the organization, including Clinicians, Sales, Technology Services, Marketing, Finance and Operations.

The role will report to the Director of Proactive Health Insights supporting the Annual Health Assessment, Medcan’s flagship product, and associated services.

The Accountabilities:

- Maintain and disseminate competitive intelligence for key products to support marketing, corporate sales, and customer success
- Support business planning and forecasting initiatives for products and services within the Proactive Health Insights portfolio
- Monitor business performance for the product portfolio to achieve or exceed budget, including monitoring results and KPIs, and facilitating issue resolution to keep on track
- Translate business challenges into quantifiable questions and collaborate with Product Management, Operations, and Analytics to provide insight into product development and the Medcan 3-year strategic plan
- Monitor and recommend actions to influence client behavior based on segmentation, likelihood estimations, and other behavioral metrics
- Prepare insights to support product development and enhancements, leveraging internal and external sources
- Combine data from numerous sources to inform key business decisions
- Create compelling presentations to align stakeholders around key product opportunities
- Develop robust financial models to assess the viability of products and services
- Support strategic initiatives as needed, such as requirements gathering, business cases, analysis, and executive-level presentations

The Requirements:

- Undergraduate in Business, Economics, Healthcare Management or another relevant field
- 2+ years of relevant experience in Analyst or Product Associate roles
- Ability to conduct detailed analysis and draw meaningful insights to enable decision making; comfortable with both quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Ability to visualize and derive insights from data
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to take initiative and work independently to deliver results in a timely basis with mínimal supervision
- Proven ability to build relationships and work effectively at all levels to influence outcomes
- Skilled at working under pressure and adapting to change
- Superior attention to detail

This is a full-time role that is scheduled primarily during business hours Monday through Friday. This is a hybrid position working in the office 2 days/week at 150 York St in downtown Toronto.
