**The Technical Product Specialist - Equipment and Devices** primary purpose is to be a global resource to support commercial teams throughout the sales process including after sales support. The position will focus on specialty sales, technical support and product demonstrations.

This position will be responsible for directing customer inquiries about equipment and devices for all Medisca markets.

**Your key responsibilities**:
Technical Support to Customers and Sales
- Support internal and external stakeholders with technical inquiries
- Adhere to high standards of customer service
- Execute product demonstrations
- Exude technical expertise to ensure business opportunities are maximized with sales teams and customers
- Upkeep with country specific regulations and industry standards in key market segments
- Understand the competitive landscape to best leverage our products
- Review dropship orders for accuracy and supporting documentation required
- Collaborate with cross functional teams such as logistics, R&D, sales and marketing

Troubleshoot Equipment and Devices Related Issues
- Reference available resources to troubleshoot customer technical issue for equipment and devices
- Communicate with suppliers for escalated inquiries, additional details and product opportunities
- Maintain and update the Equipment and Device portal within CRM

Support Product Portfolio
- Demonstrate effective market research skills and techniques
- Coordinate internal training collateral to assist continuous product training and launches
- Assist in product presentations and supporting document updates such as reference charts and spec sheets
- Support marketing strategies to generate additional leads
- Collaborate with sales representatives to recruit interested customers for demos

Travel may be required for product education and tradeshow attendance

**Skills, knowledge and abilities**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a Science related field is preferred
- Compounding experience as a pharmacy technician in a sterile environment required, and non-sterile lab environment an asset
- One (1) to three (3) years’ experience in a customer facing role an asset
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook and Excel) required
- Excellent communication skills required; fluent English & French (oral & written). This position requires communication with customers based across Canada and the United States.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skill, customer focused and professional
- Quick learner, able to absorb large amounts of information
- Effective at synthesizing information and presenting it in a clear, concise manner
- Detail-oriented and results-driven
